The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, January 29 reveals pandemonium will ensue as Ian Ward (Ray Wise) holds a gun on the Newman family.
Also coming up, Ian will force Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to call all his children over to the ranch.
Y&R spoilers tease Victor will tell Ian that even if he succeeds in shooting him, he’ll never get past security. “If you pull that trigger, you’re signing your death warrant,” he’ll add. “I know you’re crazy, but you’re not stupid. Can we make a deal?”
But Ian will be amused. He’ll say it was just minutes ago that Victor threatened to kill him. Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will urge him to consider his options because he’s running out of them. “You can’t take us all,” Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will say.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Adam Wants To Know What He’s Really After
So, Ian will tell them he’s going out on his own terms. Then he’ll force Victor’s henchman to walk towards him. He wants to see if he has any other weapons on him. But instead of searching him, Ian will knock him out with his gun. Nick will again ask where Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and her daughter are. However, Ian will say he no clue.
Then Ian will demand that Victor summon all of his other children to the ranch and he’ll refuse. So, Ian will point the pistol at Nick. “Do it Victor, or your son dies.” He’ll say he’s going to purge the world of the Newman clan. “But I do have compassion, I’m willing to let you go,” he’ll tell Michael, who will say he’s not going anywhere.
Ian will once again demand that Victor call his other children. So, he’ll get on the phone to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and ask him to come to the ranch. “One down, two to go,” Ian will say. And Victor will place a call to Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway).
Meanwhile, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will walk down the stairs. Nikki will gasp when she sees Victor’s henchman lying on the floor. Then she’ll spot Ian, who will corral them into the living room.
Victoria will ask why he’s doing this and Ian will say he’s saving the world from the Newmans. She’ll ask him to spare Claire but he’ll say she participated in Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) murder. Ian will add that he loved Jordan and they murdered her. But Claire will tell him she wasn’t capable of love. Not to mention Jordan told her that Ian had abandoned her.
Moments later, Adam will arrive and and call out for Victor. “What the hell?” he’ll say when he sees Ian standing there pointing a gun at the rest of his family. Ian will tell him to get in line and he will. Adam will want to know what Ian is really after. “Why don’t you just name a price and I’ll make it happen.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Ian Tells Nick To Finish The Job
Ian will laugh and tell him he’s in no position to make that kind of a promise. “I know the real you Adam, I know how much you resent your daddy and your whole family.” Then he’ll tell Nikki she’s always been Victor’s most prized possession.
“How can you stand it?” he’ll ask her. “Watching Victor create all the pain and suffering?” Victor will stand up and tell Ian he will not get out of there alive. “I know that,” he’ll reply. “I don’t intend to get out of here alive and I don’t intend for you to get out of here alive.”
Ian will ask where Abby is and Victor will smile and say he didn’t call her. He’ll bring up making a deal again and offer him money. “Money means nothing to me,” Ian will reply. He’ll ask Victor to pick someone to die first, and it can’t be him or Nikki. But when Victor moves toward him, Ian will shoot him.
Victor’s family will rush to his side, but moments later he’ll get up and tackle the villain. A shot will ring out and Ian will have a wound on his right side. Michael will call an ambulance and Nick will grab the gun and hold it on Ian.
Finally, Nikki and Victoria will tell Victor to hold on, the paramedics are coming. “You’re so beautiful,” he’ll say to Nikki, as his eyes roll back in his head. As for Ian, he’ll tell Nick to finish the job. “Don’t think I haven’t considered it,” he’ll reply. “But unlike you, I don’t murder people in cold blood.” But will Victor and Ian survive?
